[00:03:20] Now concerning the provision by the Word of the Lord, I think this is one of the most powerful subjects out there.

[00:03:27] You know you have heard me teach that if you have a need God is your source so go to him in prayer and ask him in the name of Jesus.

[00:03:36] Just tell him your need and believe and put faith in God's Word. In other words, put your faith in God's Word.

[00:03:43] Ask him in the name of Jesus. The Bible says you have not because you ask not.

[00:03:47] Now normally when you do that I guarantee you we don't serve a dead God, we serve a living God.

[00:03:53] The Holy Spirit will then come and begin to lead and to guide and to give directions.

[00:03:58] I believe that as he leads you to do certain things it's key.

[00:04:04] It's keys that unlock the breakthrough that God is at work doing in answer to your prayer.

[00:04:14] So you pray, you go to the Lord, you ask him and you present your need and you stand on the Word of God.

[00:04:22] Your faith is in God's Word. The Bible says heaven and earth will pass away but my Word will remain forever.

[00:04:28] The Lord watches over his Word to perform it.

[00:04:32] But that Word of the Lord comes as the Holy Spirit leads you and directs you to do certain things.

[00:04:39] And you know there's a great wonderful scripture in 1 Kings chapter 17 verse 1 through 7

[00:04:46] and it's really the story of Elijah who came and brought a prophetic word to the nation

[00:04:51] about the fact that a drought would come.

[00:04:56] And as a result of the drought there was no water and there was no food.

[00:05:00] And I'm going to read it to you there in 1 Kings 17 verse 1 it says,

[00:05:04] And Elijah the tishbite of the inhabitants of Gilead said to Ahab as the Lord God of Israel lives

[00:05:12] before whom I stand there shall not be due nor rain these years except at my word.

[00:05:18] So that's another story in and of itself of why that Word came that way.

[00:05:23] But basically the land was in disobedience to God following after other gods, right?

[00:05:29] Now in verse 2 it says,

[00:05:32] Then the Word of the Lord came to him to Elijah saying,

[00:05:38] So the Word of the Lord in other words the leading of the Holy Spirit.

[00:05:41] The Word of the Lord came to him saying,

[00:05:43] Now when you pray and you ask God and you say,

[00:05:46] Lord I have a need and you put your faith in God's Word I guarantee you the Holy Spirit will begin to speak.

[00:05:52] It's similar to this verse here then the Word of the Lord came saying,

[00:05:55] All right get away from here and turn eastward and hide by the brook charath which flows into the Jordan.

[00:06:05] So the Word of the Lord came to Elijah and said go to the river charath all right and stay there.

[00:06:11] And it shall be that you shall drink from the brook which and I've commanded the ravens to feed you there.

[00:06:21] So that's the Word, the Word of the Lord came all right go to the river charath stay there.

[00:06:27] I've commanded the ravens which are birds to come and feed you your drink from the river and the birds will feed you.

[00:06:33] So that's the Word of the Lord.

[00:06:35] What was necessary all right he had to obey the Word of the Lord.

[00:06:41] And so verse 5 you see in 1 Kings 17

[00:06:45] And so he went and he did according to the Word of the Lord for he went and he stayed by the brook charath which flowed into the Jordan.

[00:06:58] So he obeyed the Word and he went there.

[00:07:01] And then it says in verse 6 and the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening and he drank from the brook.

[00:07:09] Now think about this, think about this.

[00:07:12] There's a drought so there's no rain, there's no food, there's not a lot of water and he gets the Word of the Lord and he goes to the river charath which feels to me like it's in the middle of nowhere.

[00:07:23] And he goes and he sits there by the river charath and now the ravens need to come.

[00:07:30] Think about it, there was nothing he could do to help those ravens come.

[00:07:37] He couldn't make bird calls, he couldn't do a special dance or whatever.

[00:07:43] He had to believe 100% in what God just told him, in the leading of the Holy Spirit, in the Word of the Lord.

[00:07:53] There was nothing he could do that could cause those ravens to come with bread and meat.

[00:08:00] Think about it, both bread is not something that grows on trees.

[00:08:04] Bread gets made, put together and baked.

[00:08:09] So where do those ravens get that bread?

[00:08:11] Meat as well. I'm pretty sure they didn't bring roadkill or meat that had died on some side of a mountain.

[00:08:19] They had to be meat that had been prepared, healthy and they brought this to him there at the river charath.

[00:08:27] There was nothing he could do to help the Word of the Lord come to pass.

[00:08:31] There was nothing he could do to help God confirm his Word.

[00:08:36] So you see how powerful the Word of the Lord is?

[00:08:39] You pray and you ask and you stand on the promises of God's Word.

[00:08:43] The Holy Spirit comes and leads you and guides you.

[00:08:46] And the key to this whole thing is just do exactly what he says to you to do.

[00:08:53] Now this can include him telling you to maybe to bless somebody with some finances or to...

[00:09:02] It doesn't necessarily even mean that you have to do something with money.

[00:09:07] Sometimes it's a simple obedience to him, an obedient act.

[00:09:11] He had to obey that Word.

[00:09:14] It said go to the river charath.

[00:09:15] He had to go there to the river charath.

[00:09:18] He couldn't say well I don't like that river.

[00:09:20] I'm going to go down to the Jordan instead.

[00:09:23] No, he had to go to the place where the Word of the Lord commanded him to go.

[00:09:30] That was the place of blessing.

[00:09:34] So I guarantee you as you put your faith in God for provision,

[00:09:40] He's going to lead you and as you obey that leading

[00:09:43] you're going to see it's like putting your faith into action

[00:09:46] and something supernatural will happen.

[00:09:49] As you obey the Word of the Lord just as he did,

[00:09:52] he went there, he sat there and then it was...

[00:09:56] God had to come through.

[00:09:58] If God didn't come through, he was in big trouble.

[00:10:01] But he went to the place, he obeyed the Word

[00:10:04] and the supernatural provision happened according to the Word of the Lord.

[00:10:12] Now I guarantee you the Lord is going to lead you in this way.

[00:10:15] As you put your faith in him for provision

[00:10:18] and as you come to the Father asking him, I guarantee you

[00:10:22] and as you obey the Word of the Lord, the Lord will do miracles.

[00:10:25] It's a great key.

[00:10:26] I believe that this is probably one of the most important things

[00:10:30] that I hope you grasp and you take a hold of in this series

[00:10:38] because I guarantee you, you see when you obey the leading of the Holy Spirit

[00:10:44] it causes your faith to come alive.

[00:10:48] It puts...

[00:10:49] I tell you what, it'll become so exciting as you realize

[00:10:53] that you are actually working together with the Holy Spirit

[00:10:57] in your life.

[00:11:02] God is not a slot machine that you go and you put money in

[00:11:06] and you hope you hit the jackpot and it all pops out

[00:11:09] all these things and now you're blessed.

[00:11:13] No, you walk right before him.

[00:11:17] You walk righteously before him.

[00:11:20] You see him as your source.

[00:11:22] You recognize that everything in your life comes from him

[00:11:25] and you are a steward of the things he's given you.

[00:11:29] When you ask him, he leads you

[00:11:30] and when you take the...

[00:11:33] and you obey that which he has led you in,

[00:11:35] the Word of the Lord, you will see a miracle take place.

[00:11:38] Look, those ravens came with bread and meat and fed Elijah

[00:11:45] supernaturally and I guarantee you

[00:11:47] the Lord will do supernatural things very similar in your life.

[00:11:54] And I hope this blesses you.

[00:11:57] Take God by His Word, put faith in Him, ask Him.

[00:12:04] He says if you ask me anything, I'll give it to you.

[00:12:07] If you believe in your heart and you ask me, it's yours.

[00:12:11] But then follow His leading and see amazing things.

[00:12:17] Just obey Him, obey His Word, obey the Word of the Lord

[00:12:20] and you'll see a supernatural outcome.
